Sprite

Sprite is a clear soda, lemon-lime flavoured, caffeine free soft drink, produced by the Coca-Cola Company. Sprite was introduced to the United States in 1961.

Sprite's slogans in the 60s and 70s ranged from "Taste Its Tingling Tartness", "Naturally Tart", and "It's a Natural!" However, Sprite started its biggest campaign in the early 1980s with the word "Great Lymon Taste!" which remanded on the logo for many years. By 1987 Sprite began to have a big following among teenagers, and the marketing ads for the product were changed to cater to that demographic. "I Like The Sprite In You" was their first long running slogan.

Toward the late 90's most of Sprite's advertisements were set to basketball players both amateur and famous. The taglines for most of these ads were "Image is nothing, Thirst is everything, Obey Your Thirst".

Sprite is sold in 1.5l PET, 50cl PET and 300ml glass bottles.

Sprite Zero

Sprite Zero is a clear, lemon-lime-flavored low-calorie beverage produced by the Coca-Cola Company. This sugar-free version was originally produced in the United States as "Sugar Free Sprite" in 1974, then was renamed to "Diet Sprite" in 1983. In other countries, it was known as "Sprite Light". In September 2004, it was re-branded as "Diet Sprite Zero." Since then, it has become "Sprite Zero (Sprite Z)".

Sprite Zero is sold in 1.5 litres and 500 ml PET bottles.
