LOCAL MARKET
PBL produces and offers a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and other alcoholic products, soft drinks and table water. Its flagship brand, Phoenix beer, was launched in 1963 and has since become the preferred beer of Mauritius and in many other countries. The company also manufactures Blue Marlin beer, Phoenix Special Brew beer and Phoenix Fresh beer.

PBL is today the sole authorised bottler of  Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Schweppes ,Crystal Table Water and other coke products. 

PBL also produces and sells under contract agreement world famous brands such as Guinness Foreign Extra Stout, Malta Guinness and Smirnoff Ice for the local market.  PBL produces Coca-Cola products such as Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Schweppes, Dasani and Crystal Table Water.

More recently, PBL has also started importing and distributing wines, spirits and champagnes from France, South Africa,  Australia, United States (California), Chili, Italy, China and Argentina.

 

EXPORT MARKET
PBL is more than focuses in developing its export business, moving from foothold positions to more significant volumes in key targeted markets.


Following its long established partnership with Diageo and Kenya Breweries Ltd,  PBL manufactures under license, products such as Tusker, Pilsner, Guinness (6.5% abv),  Malta Guinness and Smirnoff Red and then exported to certain countries.

The International Business unit is actively seeking for overseas partners to promote and sell the proudly Mauritian beer, Phoenix in countries such as: Reunion Island, Mayotte, Durban, South Africa, Burkina Faso, Togo, United Kingdom, France, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore.

PBG is more than ever focused in developing its export business, moving from foothold positions to more significant volumes in key targeted markets. In addition to this, PBG in partnership with UNIBRA, is at an advance stage of preparation for commercial entry into the Madagascar market through the construction of a new brewery, “Nouvelle Brasserie de Madagascar SA”.
